I go to my local Japanese markets so often that I think the employees there may think I have a slight problem. I just love all things Japanese, and I am especially obsessed with Japanese candies. Oh my goodness are they AWESOME. The thing I love the most is that popular American candy manufacturers often make Asian versions of American candies with interesting (and better!) flavors than those they offer here in the US.
Which brings me to my latest discoveries, which, if I had more money (and a smaller waistline) I would have purchased right on the spot. Check these out:
Banana and strawberry flavored Kit Kats
Mango flavored Oreo Candies
Cola-flavored chewy candies
I actually purchased the above candy because, well, that little guy with the soda bubbles for hair totally sucked me in. Here's a look at the back of the package:

By the way, these soda candies are YUMMY! I love how they are chewy (like taffy almost) but there's a hardy, gummy center that takes like bubbly cola.

The first bag of kit kats is actually "mixed juice"!
The packaging on your last picture says something like "these soft candies contain cola-flavored gummies and bits of xylitol".
I'm not translating word for word, because if it did, it wouldn't make sense!

As for the soft candies, that's very interesting! Here I thought the little guy might be saying something cute or funny. Who knew he was just describing the ingredients!

The phrase "オレオチョコレトバーミニ" above the word oreo reads "oreo chocolate bar mini" in English.
I love Japanese snacks too, which is probably why I can't loose weight living here anymore!
I love the candy in the last photograph! I'm not Japanese - I'm Singaporean, and being a little country that imports everything ... well, let's just say a few inches of my waist are probably from buying candy like this from the local 7-11. There are loads of other flavours too!!! My fave flavours are Momo Peach, Yoghurt-soda, and Grape gummies. I've seen Mango and Honeydew too.
where can I purchase these candy bars from? I live in the U.S.
"mixed juice" is equivalent to our smoothie here, so I bet it is strawberry banana smoothie flavored!
i just love the cola flavored candies! i actually have one in my bag right now. lol. but my favorite is the soda flavored one. its way better, you should totally try it! :D
