Here's a song that came out in 1982, I believe, but it just never, ever, EVER gets old. I don't care how many times I hear it--it always gets my feet tappin' and my bootie wigglin'.
And for those of you born after the era of records and record players, the pops and crackles you hear on this recording are that of a record being played on a phonograph. I miss that sound so much, and am grateful to the person who uploaded this song in all its crackly glory!
Yaz, Move Out
(Turn it up!)
And just because this song reminds me of my junior high boyfriend, here's one more. Aaaah, how many times I practiced writing my first name with his last name while listening to this song...
Yaz, Only You

Ok, lemme start by saying OMG, YAZ! I just stumbled across this sister site of yours, scrolled down, and found one of my all-time fave bands from the '80's! How much do YOU rock?!
Clearly, we grew up at the same time LOL ... our music & movie tastes & pop culture knowledge from that time are in sync ;-)
YAZ!
Hi, G, my reaction when I read this post was the same as LipstickChick's...OMG, Yaz!!! We all must have grown up at the same time. My fave Yaz song is "Don't Go"...remember that one? I follow your other blog, so when I read that you also write this one, I had to check it out. Finding Yaz was a happy blast-from-the-past. :)
